<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idf09c3cf7-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904"><num value="904">§ 904.</num><heading> Disposal</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf09c3cf8-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Notice to Local Government</inline>.—</heading><content>Before offering real property situated in an urban area for sale, the Administrator of General Services shall give reasonable notice to the unit of general local government exercising zoning and land use jurisdiction in order to provide an opportunity for zoning so that the property is used in accordance with local comprehensive planning described in subsection (c).</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf09c3cf9-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Notice to Prospective Purchasers</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>To the greatest extent practicable, the Administrator shall furnish to all prospective purchasers of real property situated in an urban area complete information concerning—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3cfa-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> current zoning regulations, prospective zoning requirements, and objectives for property if it is unzoned; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3cfb-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3cfc-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/b/2/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> the current availability of streets, sidewalks, sewers, water, street lights, and other service facilities; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3cfd-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/b/2/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> the prospective availability of those service facilities if the property is included in local comprehensive planning described in subsection (c).</content>

</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf09c3cfe-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c"><num value="c">(c)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Local Comprehensive Planning</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Local comprehensive planning referred to in subsections (a) and (b) includes any of the following activities, to the extent the activity is directly related to the needs of a unit of general local government:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3cff-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><chapeau> As a guide for government policy and action, preparing general plans related to—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idf09c3d00-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/1/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> the pattern and intensity of land use;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idf09c3d01-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/1/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> the provision of public facilities (including transportation facilities) and other government services; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idf09c3d02-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/1/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> the effective development and use of human and natural resources.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3d03-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> Preparing long-range physical and fiscal plans for government action.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3d04-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> Programming capital improvements and other major expenditures, based on a determination of relative urgency, together with definitive financial planning for expenditures in the earlier years of a program.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3d05-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> Coordinating related plans and activities of state and local governments and agencies.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf09c3d06-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s904/c/5"><num value="5">(5)</num><content> Preparing regulatory and administrative measures to support activities described in this subsection.</content>
