<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">An executive agency may—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7d5e6bc3-446e-11e6-9013-db96b408e4b2" identifier="/us/usc/t41/s4501/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> make advance, partial, progress or other payments under contracts for property or services made by the agency; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7d5e6bc4-446e-11e6-9013-db96b408e4b2" identifier="/us/usc/t41/s4501/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> insert in solicitations for procurement of property or services a provision limiting to small business concerns advance or progress payments.</content>
