L. 102–486, title XXI, § 2125(4)–(6), Oct. 24, 1992, 106 Stat. 3085.)","seq_in_title":6411,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch125","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42","level":"title","num":"Title 42—","heading":"THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch125","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 125—","heading":"RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY TECHNOLOGY COMPETITIVENESS","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id8f59a229-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004\"><num value=\"12004\">§ 12004.</num><heading> Energy efficiency authorizations</heading>\n<chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for the following energy efficiency research, development, and demonstration programs: transportation, industrial, buildings and community systems, multi-sector, and policy and management—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8f59a22a-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><chapeau> not to exceed $201,100,000 for fiscal year 1991, of which—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8f59a22b-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/1/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> not to exceed $68,300,000 shall be available for the transportation program; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8f59a22c-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> not to exceed $53,500,000 shall be available for the industrial program; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8f59a22d-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><chapeau> not to exceed $210,600,000 for fiscal year 1992, of which—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8f59a22e-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/2/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> not to exceed $71,000,000 shall be available for the transportation program; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8f59a22f-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12004/2/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> not to exceed $54,700,000 shall be available for the industrial program.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id8f59a230-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/101/218/s5\">Pub.
