At a minimum, the application shall contain information about the work experience of the applicant and sufficient information to enable the Director, or the campus director of the appropriate campus, to determine whether selection of the applicant for membership in the Corps is appropriate.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bac94-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/b/4\"><num value=\"4\" class=\"bold\">(4)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Team leaders</heading><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I18\" class=\"indent4 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bac95-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/b/4/A\"><num value=\"A\" class=\"bold\">(A)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\">The Director may select individuals with prior supervisory or service experience to be team leaders within units in the National Civilian Community Corps, to perform service that includes leading and supervising teams of Corps members. Each team leader shall be selected without regard to the age limitation under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s12613/b\">section 12613(b) of this title</ref>.</p>\n</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I18\" class=\"indent4 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bac96-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/b/4/B\"><num value=\"B\" class=\"bold\">(B)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Rights and benefits</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\">A team leader shall be provided the same rights and benefits applicable to other Corps members, except that the Director may increase the limitation on the amount of the living allowance under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s12618/b\">section 12618(b) of this title</ref> by not more than 10 percent for a team leader.</p>\n</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3a7-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Organization of Corps into units</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3a8-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/c/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Units</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The Corps shall be divided into permanent units. Each Corps member shall be assigned to a unit.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3a9-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/c/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Unit leaders</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The leader of each unit shall be selected from among persons in the permanent cadre established pursuant to <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s12619/c/2\">section 12619(c)(2) of this title</ref>. The designated leader shall accompany the unit throughout the period of agreed service of the members of the unit.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3aa-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/d\"><num value=\"d\" class=\"bold\">(d)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Campuses</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3ab-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/d/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Units to be assigned to campuses</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The units of the Corps shall be grouped together as appropriate in campuses for operational, support, and boarding purposes. The Corps campus for a unit shall be in a facility or central location established as the operational headquarters and boarding place for the unit. Corps members may be housed in the campuses.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3ac-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/d/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Campus director</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">There shall be a campus director for each campus. The campus director is the head of the campus.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3ad-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/d/3\"><num value=\"3\" class=\"bold\">(3)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Eligible site for campus</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">A campus shall be cost effective and may, upon the completion of a feasibility study, be located in a facility referred to in <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s12622/c\">section 12622(c) of this title</ref>.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3ae-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/e\"><num value=\"e\" class=\"bold\">(e)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Distribution of units and campuses</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The Director shall ensure that the Corps units and campuses are cost effective and are distributed in urban areas and rural areas such that each Corps unit in a region can be easily deployed for disaster and emergency response to such region.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3af-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f\"><num value=\"f\" class=\"bold\">(f)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Standards of conduct</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3b0-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The campus director of each campus shall establish and enforce standards of conduct to promote proper moral and disciplinary conditions in the campus.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3b1-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Sanctions</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">Under procedures prescribed by the Director, the campus director of a campus may—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idad2bd3b2-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f/2/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> transfer a member of the Corps in that campus to another unit or campus if the campus director determines that the retention of the member in the member’s unit or in the campus director’s campus will jeopardize the enforcement of the standards or diminish the opportunities of other Corps members in that unit or campus, as the case may be; or</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idad2bd3b3-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f/2/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> dismiss a member of the Corps from the Corps if the campus director determines that retention of the member in the Corps will jeopardize the enforcement of the standards or diminish the opportunities of other Corps members.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad2bd3b4-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s12615/f/3\"><num value=\"3\" class=\"bold\">(3)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Appeals</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">Under procedures prescribed by the Director, a member of the Corps may appeal to the Director a determination of a campus director to transfer or dismiss the member.
