Such program plan shall include—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa6144e-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> an evaluation of current procedures and mechanisms used to achieve such integration;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa6144f-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> an assessment of the role that the Department of Energy national laboratories play in such integration;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa61450-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> an identification and evaluation of models that could enhance such integration;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa61451-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><chapeau> an identification and evaluation of new programs, mechanisms, and related policy options that could improve the integrating process, including—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8fa61452-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/4/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> set aside funding for matching or leveraging basic and applied programs;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8fa61453-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/4/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> more formal linkages; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id8fa61454-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/4/C\"><num value=\"C\">(C)</num><content> program coordination;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa61455-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/5\"><num value=\"5\">(5)</num><content> recommendations for expanded research and development and new technology areas; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id8fa61456-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13505/6\"><num value=\"6\">(6)</num><content> budget estimates for activities under this section.</content>\n</paragraph>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id8fa61457-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/102/486/tXXII/s2205\">Pub.
