L. 102–486, title XXIII, § 2307, Oct. 24, 1992, 106 Stat. 3096.)","seq_in_title":6906,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch134/schXI","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42","level":"title","num":"Title 42—","heading":"THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch134","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 134—","heading":"ENERGY POLICY","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch134/schXI","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER XI—","heading":"POLICY AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idad5e0724-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526\"><num value=\"13526\">§ 13526.</num><heading> Uncosted obligations</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad5e0725-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Report</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Along with the submission of each of the President’s annual budget requests to Congress, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report which—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idad5e0726-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><chapeau> identifies the amount of Department of Energy funds that were, as of the end of the previous fiscal year—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idad5e0727-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a/1/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> committed uncosted obligations; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idad5e0728-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> uncommitted uncosted obligations;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idad5e0729-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> specifically describes the purposes for which all such funds are intended; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idad5e072a-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> explains the effect that information contained in the report has had on the annual budget request for the Department of Energy being simultaneously submitted.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad5e072b-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s13526/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Definitions</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Within 90 days after <date date=\"1992-10-24\">October 24, 1992</date>, the Secretary shall submit a report to the Congress containing definitions of the terms “uncosted obligation”, “committed uncosted obligation”, and “uncommitted uncosted obligation” for purposes of reports to be submitted under subsection (a).</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idad5e072c-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/102/486/tXXIII/s2307\">Pub.
