L. 110–140, title II, § 246, Dec. 19, 2007, 121 Stat. 1547.)","seq_in_title":7765,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch152/schII/ptC","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42","level":"title","num":"Title 42—","heading":"THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch152","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 152—","heading":"ENERGY INDEPENDENCE AND SECURITY","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch152/schII","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER II—","heading":"ENERGY SECURITY THROUGH INCREASED PRODUCTION OF BIOFUELS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch152/schII/ptC","level":"part","num":"Part C—","heading":"Biofuels Infrastructure","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idad92f9ec-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053\"><num value=\"17053\">§ 17053.</num><heading> Federal fleet fueling centers</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad92f9ed-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than <date date=\"2010-01-01\">January 1, 2010</date>, the head of each Federal agency shall install at least 1 renewable fuel pump at each Federal fleet fueling center in the United States under the jurisdiction of the head of the Federal agency.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad92f9ee-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Report</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than October 31 of the first calendar year beginning after <date date=\"2007-12-19\">December 19, 2007</date>, and each October 31 thereafter, the President shall submit to Congress a report that describes the progress toward complying with subsection (a), including identifying—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idad92f9ef-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the number of Federal fleet fueling centers that contain at least 1 renewable fuel pump; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idad92f9f0-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> the number of Federal fleet fueling centers that do not contain any renewable fuel pumps.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad92f9f1-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Department of Defense facility</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">This section shall not apply to a Department of Defense fueling center with a fuel turnover rate of less than 100,000 gallons of fuel per year.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idad92f9f2-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s17053/d\"><num value=\"d\" class=\"bold\">(d)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Authorization of appropriations</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idad92f9f3-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/110/140/tII/s246\">Pub.
