Probably should be followed by “and Technology”.</note> of the House of Representatives.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f33-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/3\"><num value=\"3\" class=\"bold\">(3)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Cis-lunar space</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “cis-lunar space” means the region of space from the Earth out to and including the region around the surface of the Moon.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f34-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/4\"><num value=\"4\" class=\"bold\">(4)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Deep space</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “deep space” means the region of space beyond cis-lunar space.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f35-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/5\"><num value=\"5\" class=\"bold\">(5)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> ISS</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “ISS” means the International Space Station.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f36-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/6\"><num value=\"6\" class=\"bold\">(6)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> NASA</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “NASA” means the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f37-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/7\"><num value=\"7\" class=\"bold\">(7)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Near-Earth space</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “near-Earth space” means the region of space that includes low-Earth orbit and extends out to and includes geo-synchronous orbit.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f38-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/8\"><num value=\"8\" class=\"bold\">(8)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> NOAA</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “NOAA” means the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f39-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/9\"><num value=\"9\" class=\"bold\">(9)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> OSTP</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “OSTP” means the Office of Science and Technology Policy.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idd95f1f3a-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s18302/10\"><num value=\"10\" class=\"bold\">(10)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Space Launch System</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The term “Space Launch System” means the follow-on government-owned civil launch system developed, managed, and operated by NASA to serve as a key component to expand human presence beyond low-Earth orbit.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idd95f1f3b-406b-11eb-bd25-fd7436c081d8\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/111/267/s3\">Pub.
