The preceding sentence shall be applicable only if such person is killed while engaged in the performance of such inspection duties or on account of the performance of such duties.</continuation>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idaa8d5b36-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s2283/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Assault</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Whoever forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes with any person who performs inspections as described under subsection (a) of this section, while such person is engaged in such inspection duties or on account of the performance of such duties, shall be punished as provided under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t18/s111\">section 111 of title 18</ref>.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idaa8d5b37-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\">(<ref href=\"/us/act/1946-08-01/ch724\">Aug. 1, 1946, ch. 724</ref>, title I, § 235, as added <ref href=\"/us/pl/96/295/tII/s202/a\">Pub.
