<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id42ec4343-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332"><num value="2332">§ 2332.</num><heading> Priorities; uniformity; preferences; impairment of rights</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Commission shall establish, by rule or regulation, a detailed system of reasonable and fair priority rights applicable to the sale of Government-owned property to private purchasers at each community. The priorities shall—</chapeau><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42ec4344-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> be uniform in each class or subclass of property;</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42ec4345-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><chapeau> give such preference to occupants and project-connected persons and to incoming employees of the Commission, of a contractor, or of a licensee as the Commission finds necessary or desirable, giving due consideration to the following factors:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id42ec4346-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> The retention and recruitment of personnel essential to the atomic energy program;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id42ec4347-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> The minimization of dislocations within the community;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id42ec4348-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/b/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> The expeditious accomplishment of the disposal program; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id42ec4349-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/b/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> The desirability of encouraging private firms to locate or remain in the community;</content>
</paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42ec434a-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/c"><num value="c">(c)</num><content> give the occupant of a Government-owned single family house, and the senior occupant of a duplex house, at least ninety days in which to exercise the first right of priority;</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42ec434b-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/d"><num value="d">(d)</num><content> permit persons who have formerly been occupants, project-connected persons, or inhabitants of the community, upon application therefor, to have such priority as the Commission finds to be fair and equitable; and</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42ec434c-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2332/e"><num value="e">(e)</num><content> not impair any rights, including purchase rights, conferred by existing leases and covenants.</content>
