<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id42eeb4ab-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2364"><num value="2364">§ 2364.</num><heading> Community employment and population</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The indemnity obligation specified in <ref href="/us/usc/t42/s2363">section 2363 of this title</ref> shall arise only if, for the six months just preceding the date on which it is invoked—</chapeau><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42eeb4ac-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2364/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> the total number of operating, maintenance, and administrative employees in the project area, as determined by the Commission, has been less than fourteen thousand three hundred and thirty-seven in the case of Oak Ridge or seven thousand six hundred and twenty-two in the case of Richland or four thousand six hundred and twenty in the case of Los Alamos; and</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id42eeb4ad-3271-11e3-ab2f-8f7fedb88afd" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s2364/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><content> the population in the community has been less than twenty-nine thousand two hundred and fifty in the case of Oak Ridge or twenty-five thousand two hundred in the case of Richland or eleven thousand seven hundred and sixty-nine in the case of Los Alamos.</content>

<continuation style="-uslm-lc:I10" class="indent0 firstIndent0">For purposes of this section employment shall be determined on the basis of the pay period or periods ending nearest the 15th of each month.</continuation>
