L. 105–392, title I, § 101(b)(2)</ref>, <date date=\"1998-11-13\">Nov. 13, 1998</date>, <ref href=\"/us/stat/112/3537\">112 Stat. 3537</ref>, provided that: <quotedContent origin=\"/us/pl/105/392/tI/s101/b/2\">“The amendments made by this section [enacting sections 293 to 293d of this title, amending <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s287a–2\">section 287a–2 of this title</ref>, and repealing this section and former sections 293 to 293d of this title] shall not be construed to terminate agreements that, on the day before the date of enactment of this Act [<date date=\"1998-11-13\">Nov. 13, 1998</date>], are in effect pursuant to section 795 of the Public Health Service Act (<ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s795\">42 U.S.C. 795</ref> [295n]) as such section existed on such date. Such agreements shall continue in effect in accordance with the terms of the agreements.
