<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idaaf8ee7b-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a"><num value="4027a">§ 4027a.</num><heading> Report of the Administrator on activities under the National Flood Insurance Program</heading><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idaaf8ee7c-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/1"><num value="1" class="bold">(1)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Administrator shall, on an annual basis, submit a full report on the operations, activities, budget, receipts, and expenditures of the National Flood Insurance Program for the preceding 12-month period to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives.</p>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idaaf8ee7d-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/2"><num value="2" class="bold">(2)</num><heading class="bold"> Timing</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Each report required under paragraph (1) shall be submitted to the committees described in paragraph (1) not later than 3 months following the end of each fiscal year.</p>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idaaf8ee7e-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3"><num value="3" class="bold">(3)</num><heading class="bold"> Contents</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Each report required under paragraph (1) shall include—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee7f-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><chapeau> the current financial condition and income statement of the National Flood Insurance Fund established under <ref href="/us/usc/t42/s4017">section 4017 of this title</ref>, including—</chapeau><clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee80-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/A/i"><num value="i">(i)</num><content> premiums paid into such Fund;</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee81-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/A/ii"><num value="ii">(ii)</num><content> policy claims against such Fund; and</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee82-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/A/iii"><num value="iii">(iii)</num><content> expenses in administering such Fund;</content>
</clause>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee83-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> the number and face value of all policies issued under the National Flood Insurance Program that are in force;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee84-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> a description and summary of the losses attributable to repetitive loss structures;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee85-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><chapeau> a description and summary of all losses incurred by the National Flood Insurance Program due to—</chapeau><clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee86-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/D/i"><num value="i">(i)</num><content> hurricane related damage; and</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee87-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/D/ii"><num value="ii">(ii)</num><content> nonhurricane related damage;</content>
</clause>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee88-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/E"><num value="E">(E)</num><content> the amounts made available by the Administrator for mitigation assistance under <ref href="/us/usc/t42/s4104c/c/4">section 4104c(c)(4) of this title</ref>, as so redesignated by this Act, for the purchase of properties substantially damaged by flood for that fiscal year, and the actual number of flood damaged properties purchased and the total cost expended to purchase such properties;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee89-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/F"><num value="F">(F)</num><content> the estimate of the Administrator as to the average historical loss year, and the basis for that estimate;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee8a-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/G"><num value="G">(G)</num><content> the estimate of the Administrator as to the maximum amount of claims that the National Flood Insurance Program would have to expend in the event of a catastrophic year;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee8b-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/H"><num value="H">(H)</num><chapeau> the average—</chapeau><clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee8c-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/H/i"><num value="i">(i)</num><content> amount of insurance carried per flood insurance policy;</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee8d-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/H/ii"><num value="ii">(ii)</num><content> premium per flood insurance policy; and</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="idaaf8ee8e-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/H/iii"><num value="iii">(iii)</num><content> loss per flood insurance policy; and</content>
</clause>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idaaf8ee8f-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s4027a/3/I"><num value="I">(I)</num><content> the number of claims involving damages in excess of the maximum amount of flood insurance available under the National Flood Insurance Program and the sum of the amount of all damages in excess of such amount.</content>
