A, title I, § 1521(e), July 6, 2012, 126 Stat. 578.)","seq_in_title":4150,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch61/schII","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42","level":"title","num":"Title 42—","heading":"THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch61","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 61—","heading":"UNIFORM RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION POLICIES FOR FEDERAL AND FEDERALLY ASSISTED PROGRAMS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch61/schII","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER II—","heading":"UNIFORM RELOCATION ASSISTANCE","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idab3ef7e6-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634\"><num value=\"4634\">§ 4634.</num><heading> Agency coordination</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idab3ef7e7-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Agency capacity</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Each Federal agency responsible for funding or carrying out relocation and acquisition activities shall have adequately trained personnel and such other resources as are necessary to manage and oversee the relocation and acquisition program of the Federal agency in accordance with this chapter.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idab3ef7e8-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Interagency agreements</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than 1 year after <date date=\"2012-07-06\">July 6, 2012</date>, each Federal agency responsible for funding relocation and acquisition activities (other than the agency serving as the lead agency) shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the lead agency that—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idab3f1ef9-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> provides for periodic training of the personnel of the Federal agency, which in the case of a Federal agency that provides Federal financial assistance, may include personnel of any displacing agency that receives Federal financial assistance;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idab3f1efa-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> addresses ways in which the lead agency may provide assistance and coordination to the Federal agency relating to compliance with the <ref class=\"footnoteRef\" idref=\"fn003297\">1</ref><note type=\"footnote\" id=\"fn003297\"><num>1</num> So in original. Probably should be “this”.</note> chapter on a program or project basis; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idab3f1efb-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/b/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> addresses the funding of the training, assistance, and coordination activities provided by the lead agency, in accordance with subsection (c).</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idab3f1efc-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Interagency payments</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idab3f1efd-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/c/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">For the fiscal year that begins 1 year after <date date=\"2012-07-06\">July 6, 2012</date>, and each fiscal year thereafter, each Federal agency responsible for funding relocation and acquisition activities (other than the agency serving as the lead agency) shall transfer to the lead agency for the fiscal year, such funds as are necessary, but not less than $35,000, to support the training, assistance, and coordination activities of the lead agency described in subsection (b).</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idab3f1efe-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s4634/c/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Included costs</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The cost to a Federal agency of providing the funds described in paragraph (1) shall be included as part of the cost of 1 or more programs or projects undertaken by the Federal agency or with Federal financial assistance that result in the displacement of persons or the acquisition of real property.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idab3f1eff-09a0-11eb-a85b-f5cef3d06f4d\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/91/646/tII/s214\">Pub.
