L. 96–294, title VII, § 706, June 30, 1980, 94 Stat. 773.)","seq_in_title":5759,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch97/schI","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42","level":"title","num":"Title 42—","heading":"THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch97","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 97—","heading":"ACID PRECIPITATION PROGRAM AND CARBON DIOXIDE STUDY","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t42/ch97/schI","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER I—","heading":"ACID PRECIPITATION","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id8ede0991-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s8905\"><num value=\"8905\">§ 8905.</num><heading> Authorization of appropriations</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id8ede30a2-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s8905/a\"><num value=\"a\">(a)</num><content> For the purpose of establishing the Task Force and developing the comprehensive plan under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s8903\">section 8903 of this title</ref> there is authorized to be appropriated to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for fiscal year 1981 the sum of $5,000,000 to remain available until expended.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id8ede30a3-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t42/s8905/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><content> Authorizations of appropriations for the nine fiscal years following the fiscal year in which the comprehensive plan is submitted in final form under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s8903/c/3\">section 8903(c)(3) of this title</ref>, for purposes of carrying out the comprehensive ten-year program established by <ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s8902/a\">section 8902(a) of this title</ref> and implementing the comprehensive plan under sections 8903 and 8904 of this title, shall be provided on an annual basis in authorization Acts hereafter enacted; but the total sum of dollars authorized for such purposes for such nine fiscal years shall not exceed $45,000,000 except as may be specifically provided by reference to this paragraph in the authorization Acts involved.</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id8ede30a4-86fb-11e9-b915-8b3e54686b9f\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/96/294/tVII/s706\">Pub.
