<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id0ac34e82-80bc-11ea-808b-a3be13bc391b" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s9141"><num value="9141">§ 9141.</num><heading> Determinations under Merchant Marine Act, 1936</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id0ac34e83-80bc-11ea-808b-a3be13bc391b" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s9141/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id0ac34e84-80bc-11ea-808b-a3be13bc391b" identifier="/us/usc/t42/s9141/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> For the purposes of chapter 535 of title 46, any ocean thermal energy conversion facility or plantship licensed pursuant to this chapter, and any vessel providing shipping service to or from such an ocean thermal energy conversion facility or plantship, shall be deemed to be a vessel operated in the foreign commerce of the United States.</content>
