Plan No. 3 of 1946, § 403, eff. <date date=\"1946-07-16\">July 16, 1946</date>, <ref href=\"/us/stat/60/1100\">60 Stat. 1100</ref>, set out in the Appendix to Title 5, Government Organization and Employees, which abolished the office of land register and transferred its functions to the Secretary of the Interior.</p>\n<p style=\"-uslm-lc:I21\" class=\"indent0\">Section 366, <ref href=\"/us/act/1942-10-09/ch584\">act Oct. 9, 1942, ch. 584</ref>, § 2, <ref href=\"/us/stat/56/779\">56 Stat. 779</ref>, which related to registers at land offices at Anchorage, Nome, and Fairbanks, was subsequently repealed by <ref href=\"/us/pl/89/554\">Pub. L. 89–554</ref>, § 8(a), <date date=\"1966-09-06\">Sept. 6, 1966</date>, <ref href=\"/us/stat/80/651\">80 Stat. 651</ref>.</p>\n<p style=\"-uslm-lc:I21\" class=\"indent0\">Section 366a, <ref href=\"/us/act/1942-10-09/ch584\">act Oct. 9, 1942, ch. 584</ref>, § 3, <ref href=\"/us/stat/56/779\">56 Stat. 779</ref>, which related to additional registers, was subsequently repealed by <ref href=\"/us/pl/89/554\">Pub.
