<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Sections 395 to 405, relating to the Territory of Alaska, were omitted in view of the admission of Alaska into the Union.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 395, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 1, <ref href="/us/stat/36/848">36 Stat. 848</ref>, authorized a miners’ labor lien on output, and provided for its priority.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 396, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 2, <ref href="/us/stat/36/848">36 Stat. 848</ref>, required the filing of the claim of the lien, and prescribed the form of the claim.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 397, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 3, <ref href="/us/stat/36/849">36 Stat. 849</ref>, directed the recorder to record claims of lien.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 398, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 4, <ref href="/us/stat/36/849">36 Stat. 849</ref>, specified the duration of the lien.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 399, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 5, <ref href="/us/stat/36/849">36 Stat. 849</ref>, prescribed the procedure for foreclosure of the liens.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 400, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 6, <ref href="/us/stat/36/849">36 Stat. 849</ref>, authorized defects in lien notice or in proceedings to foreclose to be cured by amendment.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 401, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 7, <ref href="/us/stat/36/850">36 Stat. 850</ref>, prescribed certain procedures in proceedings to foreclose liens, and permitted intervention by adverse claimants.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 402, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 8, <ref href="/us/stat/36/850">36 Stat. 850</ref>, provided for joinder of plaintiffs, consolidation of actions, and waiver of lien.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 403, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 9, <ref href="/us/stat/36/850">36 Stat. 850</ref>, required judgment for claimants, and provided for its enforcement.</p>
<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Section 404, <ref href="/us/act/1910-06-25/ch422">act June 25, 1910, ch. 422</ref>, § 10, <ref href="/us/stat/36/851">36 Stat. 851</ref>, permitted appeals from final judgments of justices of the peace in actions under sections 395 to 405 of this title.</p>
