<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id932fac77-4155-11e7-b46f-bc935896ce0b" identifier="/us/usc/t49/s49112/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Effect of Judicial Order</inline>.—</heading><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id932fac78-4155-11e7-b46f-bc935896ce0b" identifier="/us/usc/t49/s49112/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> If any provision of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Amendments Act of 1996 (title IX of <ref href="/us/pl/104/264">Public Law 104–264</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/110/3274">110 Stat. 3274</ref>) or the amendments made by the Act, or the application of that provision to a person, circumstance, or venue, is held invalid by a judicial order, the Secretary of Transportation and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority shall be subject to section 49108 <ref class="footnoteRef" idref="fn002178">1</ref><note type="footnote" id="fn002178"><num>1</num> See References in Text note below.</note> of this title from the day after the day the order is issued.</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id932fac79-4155-11e7-b46f-bc935896ce0b" identifier="/us/usc/t49/s49112/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> Any action of the Airports Authority that was required to be submitted to the Board of Review under section 6007(f)(4) of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Act of 1986 (<ref href="/us/pl/99/500">Public Law 99–500</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/100/1783-380">100 Stat. 1783–380</ref>; <ref href="/us/pl/99/599">Public Law 99–599</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/100/3341-383">100 Stat. 3341–383</ref>) before <date date="1996-10-09">October 9, 1996</date>, remains in effect and may not be set aside only because of a judicial order invalidating certain functions of the Board.</content>
