<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary of Labor, on any matter within his jurisdiction under this subchapter, may—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id50b1e06a-f67c-11e5-87ee-a95dc0577289" identifier="/us/usc/t5/s8126/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> issue subpenas for and compel the attendance of witnesses within a radius of 100 miles;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id50b1e06b-f67c-11e5-87ee-a95dc0577289" identifier="/us/usc/t5/s8126/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> administer oaths;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id50b1e06c-f67c-11e5-87ee-a95dc0577289" identifier="/us/usc/t5/s8126/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> examine witnesses; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id50b1e06d-f67c-11e5-87ee-a95dc0577289" identifier="/us/usc/t5/s8126/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> require the production of books, papers, documents, and other evidence.</content>
