<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id8d2c5412-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905"><num value="1905">§ 1905.</num><heading> Regulations and administrative provisions</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id8d2c5413-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Regulations</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary may prescribe regulations to carry out the program required by this chapter. Before prescribing any such regulations, the Secretary shall submit a copy of the proposed regulations to the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives. Such proposed regulations may not take effect until 30 days after the date on which they are submitted to those committees.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id8d2c5414-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Acceptance and use of gifts</heading><chapeau>In order to conduct the program required by this chapter, the Secretary may—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id8d2c5415-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> receive money and other property donated, bequeathed, or devised, without condition or restriction other than that it be used for the purpose of conducting the program required by this chapter; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id8d2c5416-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> may use, sell, or otherwise dispose of such property for that purpose.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id8d2c5417-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/c"><num value="c" class="bold">(c)</num><heading class="bold"> Voluntary services</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">In order to conduct the program required by this chapter, the Secretary may accept and use the services of voluntary and noncompensated personnel.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id8d2c5418-a3d3-11e9-8cf9-b503fa8c2a6f" identifier="/us/usc/t50/s1905/d"><num value="d" class="bold">(d)</num><heading class="bold"> Necessary expenditures</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Expenditures necessary to conduct the program required by this chapter shall be paid from the Fund, subject to <ref href="/us/usc/t50/s1904/b">section 1904(b) of this title</ref>.</p>
