<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id59ebc80e-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628"><num value="628">§ 628.</num><heading> Small covered chemical facilities</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id59ebc80f-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Definition</heading><chapeau>In this section, the term “small covered chemical facility” means a covered chemical facility that—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id59ebc810-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> has fewer than 100 employees employed at the covered chemical facility; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id59ebc811-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> is owned and operated by a small business concern (as defined in <ref href="/us/usc/t15/s632">section 632 of title 15</ref>).</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id59ebc812-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Assistance to facilities</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary may provide guidance and, as appropriate, tools, methodologies, or computer software, to assist small covered chemical facilities in developing the physical security, cybersecurity, recordkeeping, and reporting procedures required under this subchapter.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id59ebc813-f67c-11e5-b96b-f3e1d2b9a904" identifier="/us/usc/t6/s628/c"><num value="c" class="bold">(c)</num><heading class="bold"> Report</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives a report on best practices that may assist small covered chemical facilities in development of physical security best practices.</p>
