The revenue generated by the sale of such commodities in the recipient country may be utilized for economic development activities. Such program shall be implemented by the Administrator.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idbdc301d2-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s1727/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> General authority</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">To carry out the policies and accomplish the objectives described in <ref href="/us/usc/t7/s1691">section 1691 of this title</ref>, the Administrator may negotiate and execute agreements with least developed countries to provide commodities to such countries on a grant basis.</p>
