Such research shall include but not be limited to—</chapeau><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6da-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/a\"><num value=\"a\">(a)</num><content> conducting research and development on extraction and processing techniques;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6db-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><content> economic analysis of the production of native latex, including usable byproducts;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6dc-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><content> studying the environmental, social, and economic impacts of the commercial development of native latex;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6dd-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/d\"><num value=\"d\">(d)</num><content> evaluating the commercial marketability of Parthenium and rubber derived from other hydrocarbon-containing plants;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6de-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/e\"><num value=\"e\">(e)</num><content> further refining present extraction and manufacturing technologies and future extraction and manufacturing technologies, including technologies which utilize solar energy;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6df-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/f\"><num value=\"f\">(f)</num><content> developing pertinent material and records on manufacturing of natural rubber which shall be available to other Federal and State agencies and private persons who are interested in or involved in natural rubber development, or manufacture; and</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idbc2be6e0-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t7/s178d/g\"><num value=\"g\">(g)</num><content> to the extent appropriate, carrying out research activities with respect to native agricultural crops (other than Parthenium and other hydrocarbon-containing plants) that would supply critical agricultural materials for strategic and industrial purposes, in the manner specified in clauses (a) through (f).</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idbc2be6e1-aaf5-11e3-a8cb-a7a72594c0f9\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/95/592/s6\">Pub.
