<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Nothing contained in this chapter, except as otherwise provided herein, shall be construed—</chapeau><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id69ba9f49-ec38-11e5-ab42-dae4a1e80e35" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s225/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> To prevent or interfere with the enforcement of, or the procedure under, the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to protect trade and commerce against unlawful restraints and monopolies,” approved <date date="1890-07-02">July 2, 1890</date>, the Act entitled “An Act to supplement existing laws against unlawful restraints and monopolies, and for other purposes,” approved <date date="1914-10-15">October 15, 1914</date>, the Interstate Commerce Act as amended, the Act entitled “An Act to promote export trade, and for other purposes,” approved <date date="1918-04-10">April 10, 1918</date> [<ref href="/us/usc/t15/s61">15 U.S.C. 61</ref> et seq.] or sections 73 to 76, inclusive, of the Act of <date date="1894-08-27">August 27, 1894</date>, entitled “An Act to reduce taxation, to provide revenue for the Government, and for other purposes,” as amended by the Act entitled “An Act to amend sections seventy-three and seventy-six of the Act of August twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, entitled ‘An Act to reduce taxation, to provide revenue for the Government, and for other purposes,’ ” approved <date date="1913-02-12">February 12, 1913</date>, or</content>
</subsection>

<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">The Interstate Commerce Act, referred to in subsec. (a), is <ref href="/us/act/1887-02-04/ch104">act Feb. 4, 1887, ch. 104</ref>, <ref href="/us/stat/24/379">24 Stat. 379</ref>, as amended, which was classified to chapters 1 (§ 1 et seq.), 8 (§ 301 et seq.), 12 (§ 901 et seq.), 13 (§ 1001 et seq.), and 19 (1231 et seq.) of Title 49, Transportation. The Act was repealed by <ref href="/us/pl/95/473">Pub. L. 95–473</ref>, § 4(b), <date date="1978-10-17">Oct. 17, 1978</date>, <ref href="/us/stat/92/1467">92 Stat. 1467</ref>, the first section of which enacted subtitle IV (§ 10101 et seq.) of Title 49.
