<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="ida0025049-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106"><num value="8106">§ 8106.</num><heading> Biodiesel fuel education program</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="ida002504a-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Establishment</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary shall, under such terms and conditions as the Secretary determines to be appropriate, make competitive grants to eligible entities to educate governmental and private entities that operate vehicle fleets, other interested entities (as determined by the Secretary), and the public about the benefits of biodiesel fuel use.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="ida002504b-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Eligible entities</heading><chapeau>To receive a grant under subsection (b), an entity shall—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="ida002504c-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> be a nonprofit organization or institution of higher education;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="ida002504d-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> have demonstrated knowledge of biodiesel fuel production, use, or distribution; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="ida002504e-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/b/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> have demonstrated the ability to conduct educational and technical support programs.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="ida002504f-0381-11e7-aecc-aa94543f3aa1" identifier="/us/usc/t7/s8106/c"><num value="c" class="bold">(c)</num><heading class="bold"> Consultation</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">In carrying out this section, the Secretary shall consult with the Secretary of Energy.</p>
