Abolition of United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency

The United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency is abolished.

“This title [see Tables for classification], and the amendments made by this title, shall take effect on the earlier of—
“(1)

April 1, 1999
; or

“(2)

the date of abolition [

Apr. 1, 1999
] of the United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency pursuant to the reorganization plan described in section 1601 [22 U.S.C. 6601].”
