Merit Systems Protection Board and Office of Special Counsel; Authorization of Appropriations; Restriction on Appropriations
Authorization of Appropriations.—
There are authorized to be appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated—
for each of fiscal years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 such sums as necessary to carry out subchapter I of chapter 12 of title 5, United States Code (as amended by this Act); and
for each of fiscal years 2018 through 2023 such sums as necessary to carry out subchapter II of chapter 12 of title 5, United States Code (as amended by this Act).
Restriction Relating to Appropriations Under the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.—
No funds may be appropriated to the Merit Systems Protection Board or the Office of Special Counsel pursuant to section 903 of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 [Pub. L. 95–454] (5 U.S.C. 5509 note).”
